1. El equipo

1. The device

Procer 4 tiene el formato de una consola de juegos de mano: se sostiene con las dos manos y todos los controles caen bajo los pulgares y los dedos índice. No hace falta ver la pantalla para usarlo: cada acción se confirma con voz o con un sonido corto, y el equipo siempre dice en qué función está.

Procer 4 is shaped like a handheld game console: you hold it with both hands and every control falls under your thumbs and index fingers. You do not need to look at the screen to use it: every action is confirmed by speech or by a short sound, and the device always announces which function you are in.

Encender, apagar y suspender

Power on, power off and sleep

El botón de encendido es el redondo del borde superior, a la izquierda.

The power button is the round one on the top edge, on the left.

Si pasan unos minutos sin tocar ningún botón, el equipo se suspende solo para ahorrar batería: emite un sonido y apaga la pantalla, pero no se apaga. Cuánto espera antes de suspenderse se configura en Ajustes (de fábrica, 5 minutos). El equipo no se suspende mientras está leyendo, grabando o procesando.

After a few minutes without pressing any button the device goes to sleep to save battery: it plays a sound and turns off the screen, but it does not power off. How long it waits is set in Settings (5 minutes by default). The device will not go to sleep while it is reading, recording or processing.

El equipo avisa con un sonido cuando se conecta y cuando se desconecta el cargador, y con otro sonido distinto cuando la batería está baja. Para escuchar el nivel exacto en cualquier momento, mantené presionado SE.

The device plays a sound when the charger is connected and another when it is unplugged, plus a distinct sound when the battery is low. To hear the exact level at any moment, press and hold SE.

Todos los botones del frente hacen lo mismo en casi todas las funciones. Aprendido este puñado de reglas, el equipo entero se maneja igual.

Every button on the front does the same thing in almost every function. Once you learn this handful of rules, the whole device works the same way.

Los dos sticks analógicos repiten exactamente lo que hace la cruceta, así que podés navegar con la mano que te resulte más cómoda. La única excepción es el magnificador, donde los sticks mueven la imagen.

Both analog sticks mirror the D‑pad exactly, so you can navigate with whichever hand is more comfortable. The only exception is the magnifier, where the sticks pan the image.

Casi todo el equipo se maneja con cuatro patrones. Si los reconocés, ya sabés usar cualquier función, incluso una que no hayas abierto nunca.

Almost the entire device is driven by four patterns. Once you recognise them you already know how to use any function, even one you have never opened.

Patrón 1 — Listas

Pattern 1 — Lists

El menú principal, la biblioteca, las redes Wi‑Fi, las conversaciones guardadas: todo lo que sea una lista se recorre igual.

The main menu, the library, Wi‑Fi networks, saved conversations: anything that is a list is browsed the same way.

• ↓abajodown avanza al elemento siguiente, ↑arribaup retrocede al anterior. La lista es circular: al pasar del último al primero suena un pitido corto.
• ↓abajodown moves to the next item, ↑arribaup to the previous one. The list wraps around: a short beep tells you it went from the last item back to the first.
• B entra en el elemento elegido.
• B enters the selected item.
• A vuelve a la pantalla anterior.
• A goes back to the previous screen.
• Y abre las opciones que existan para ese elemento.
• Y opens the options available for that item.
• M abandona todo y vuelve al menú principal.
• M abandons everything and returns to the main menu.

Patrón 2 — Menús de opciones (el botón Y)

Casi todas las funciones tienen un menú de opciones propio que se abre con Y. Se recorre en dos direcciones:

Almost every function has its own options menu, opened with Y. It is browsed in two directions:

• Con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown pasás de una opción a otra.
• ↑arribaup ↓abajodown move from one option to the next.
• Algunas opciones tienen variantes. Cuando llegás a una de ésas suena un sonido de submenú: con ←izquierdaleft →derecharight recorrés las variantes. Por ejemplo, «Exportar» se convierte en exportar a Word, a PDF, a audio o a formato Procer.
• Some options have variants. When you reach one of these a submenu sound plays: use ←izquierdaleft →derecharight to browse the variants. For example, “Export” becomes export to Word, to PDF, to audio or to Procer format.
• B ejecuta la opción que esté anunciada en ese momento.
• B runs whichever option is announced at that moment.
• A cierra las opciones y vuelve a la función.
• A closes the options and returns to the function.

Patrón 3 — Preguntas

Pattern 3 — Questions

Cuando el equipo necesita una decisión («¿Querés guardar los cambios?», «¿Dónde lo guardo?»), lee la pregunta y después las respuestas posibles. Se recorren con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown y se elige con B. A cancela.

When the device needs a decision (“Do you want to save the changes?”, “Where should I save it?”), it reads the question and then the possible answers. Browse them with ↑arribaup ↓abajodown and choose with B. A cancels.

Patrón 4 — Escribir un nombre

Pattern 4 — Typing a name

Cada vez que hay que ponerle nombre a algo —un archivo, una carpeta, una clave de Wi‑Fi— aparece un teclado en pantalla.

Whenever something needs a name —a file, a folder, a Wi‑Fi password— an on‑screen keyboard appears.

También podés conectar un teclado USB o Bluetooth y escribir directamente en él; el equipo lo detecta solo.

You can also connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard and type on it directly; the device detects it automatically.

Quick settings

Una presión corta del botón de encendido abre, desde donde estés, un menú reducido con lo que se cambia sobre la marcha. Se recorre con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown, se modifica con ←izquierdaleft →derecharight, se activa con B y se sale con A, volviendo exactamente a lo que estabas haciendo.

A short press of the power button opens, from wherever you are, a compact menu with the things you change on the fly. Browse with ↑arribaup ↓abajodown, modify with ←izquierdaleft →derecharight, activate with B and leave with A, returning to exactly what you were doing.

• Apagar el equipo

• Velocidad de voz — lo que más se usa: acelerar cuando el texto es fácil, frenar cuando es denso.

Es la forma más práctica de apagar el equipo sin mantener el botón apretado.

It is also the handiest way to power the device off without holding the button down.

Los sonidos del equipo

The device sounds

Procer 4 usa sonidos cortos para confirmar cosas sin interrumpirte con voz. Los tres que más vas a escuchar son:

Procer 4 uses short sounds to confirm things without interrupting you with speech. The three you will hear most are:

• Acción imposible — lo que intentaste no se puede hacer acá. No es un error: simplemente esa opción no existe en esta pantalla.
• Action not possible — what you tried cannot be done here. It is not an error: that option simply does not exist on this screen.
• Submenú — la opción anunciada tiene variantes a los costados.
• Submenu — the announced option has variants to the sides.
• Pitido simple — la lista volvió al primer elemento.
• Simple beep — the list wrapped back to the first item.

4. El menú principal

4. The main menu

El menú principal es el punto de partida. Se recorre con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown y se entra con B. Desde cualquier lugar del equipo, M te trae de vuelta acá.

The main menu is the starting point. Browse it with ↑arribaup ↓abajodown and enter with B. From anywhere in the device, M brings you back here.

Además, en el menú principal L1, R1, L2 y R2 quedan libres para que les asignes las cuatro funciones que más usás: son los atajos.

On top of that, in the main menu L1, R1, L2 and R2 are free for you to assign the four functions you use most: these are the shortcuts.

4.1 Continuar lectura o procesamiento

4.1 Continue reading or processing

Es la forma más rápida de volver a lo que dejaste a medias. Ofrece cuatro caminos; se recorren con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown y se eligen con B.

The fastest way back to whatever you left half‑done. It offers four paths; browse them with ↑arribaup ↓abajodown and choose with B.

• Continuar última lectura — reabre el último documento que estuviste escuchando, exactamente en la página y el párrafo donde lo dejaste.
• Resume last reading — reopens the last document you were listening to, at exactly the page and paragraph where you left off.
• Continuar procesamiento múltiples páginas — retoma un lote de páginas del escáner que quedó a mitad de procesar.
• Continue multi‑page processing — resumes a batch of scanner pages left half‑processed.
• Continuar procesamiento de archivo PDF — retoma la digitalización de un PDF que quedó incompleta.
• Continue PDF file processing — resumes the digitisation of a PDF that was left unfinished.
• Volver a procesar última imagen obtenida — vuelve a reconocer la última imagen capturada. Útil si el resultado salió mal y querés reintentarlo sin sacar la foto de nuevo.
• Reprocess last obtained image — runs recognition again on the last captured image. Useful when the result came out wrong and you want to retry without shooting again.

Explore Library

La memoria interna del equipo, donde vive todo lo que guardaste: apuntes, documentos importados, exportaciones, grabaciones. Carpetas y archivos van en una sola lista, que se recorre con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown. Tal como viene el equipo, →derecharight entra en la carpeta elegida y ←izquierdaleft sale de ella; B abre el archivo elegido, A vuelve atrás y Y abre las opciones del elemento elegido.

The device internal memory, where everything you saved lives: notes, imported documents, exports, recordings. Folders and files share a single list, browsed with ↑arribaup ↓abajodown. As the device comes out of the box, →derecharight enters the selected folder and ←izquierdaleft leaves it; B opens the selected file, A goes back and Y opens the options for the selected item.

Con Y sobre un archivo podés filtrar por tipo (mostrar sólo PDF, sólo Word, sólo audio, sólo apuntes Procer…), crear una carpeta, agregarlo a mi material de estudio, editarlo, enviarlo a un pendrive, moverlo a otra carpeta, cambiarle el nombre o borrarlo. Sobre una carpeta aparecen además reproducir la carpeta entera y exportarla a Word o PDF.

Pressing Y on a file lets you filter by type (show only PDF, only Word, only audio, only Procer notes…), create a folder, add it to my study material, edit it, send it to a USB drive, move it to another folder, rename it or delete it. On a folder you also get play the whole folder and export it to Word or PDF.

Sobre cada material, Y abre lo que se puede hacer con él: chatear, generar tarjetas de estudio, jugar a encontrar la afirmación falsa, iniciar una aventura, generar un podcast o borrarlo. The documents you uploaded to study with the help of artificial intelligence. On each material, Y opens what you can do with it: chat, generate flashcards, play “find the false statement”, start an adventure, generate a podcast, or delete it. All of this is explained in Studying with artificial intelligence.

Los proyectos agrupan varios materiales bajo un mismo tema, para poder preguntarle a la inteligencia artificial sobre el conjunto y no sobre un solo documento. Con Y sobre un proyecto se abre Chatear con este proyecto.

Projects group several materials under one topic, so you can ask the artificial intelligence about the whole set instead of a single document. Pressing Y on a project offers Chat with this project.

Explorar almacenamiento externo

Explore external storage

Muestra el contenido de un pendrive conectado al puerto USB‑C. Se recorre igual que la biblioteca. Con Y podés enviar el archivo a la biblioteca del equipo o filtrar por tipo. Si conectás el pendrive y no aparece nada, revisá que esté bien insertado y esperá unos segundos: el equipo avisa cuando lo reconoce.

Shows the contents of a USB drive plugged into the USB‑C port. Browsed just like the library. With Y you can send the file to the device library or filter by type. If you plug the drive in and nothing appears, check it is properly seated and wait a few seconds: the device announces when it recognises it.

Conecta el equipo a una computadora con el cable USB‑C y expone la biblioteca como si fuera un pendrive: desde la computadora podés copiar documentos hacia adentro y hacia afuera libremente. A corta la conexión y devuelve el control al equipo.

Connects the device to a computer over the USB‑C cable and exposes the library as if it were a USB drive: from the computer you can freely copy documents in and out. A ends the connection and returns control to the device.

4.3 Asistente PROCER

4.3 PROCER assistant

El asistente saca una fotografía y responde en voz alta lo que le preguntes sobre ella. Sirve para saber qué hay en un envase, leer un cartel, describir una habitación, identificar un billete o entender una imagen.

The assistant takes a photograph and answers out loud whatever you ask about it. Use it to find out what is on a package, read a sign, describe a room, identify a banknote or make sense of a picture.

1. Entrá en Asistente PROCER desde el menú principal.
2. Enter PROCER assistant from the main menu.
3. Apuntá y presioná X una vez: se toma la fotografía.
4. Aim and press X once: the photo is taken.
5. Mantené X mientras hacés la pregunta en voz alta y soltalo al terminar.
6. Hold X while you ask your question out loud, and release it when you finish.
7. El asistente responde. La respuesta se lee sola; con B la pausás y reanudás.
8. The assistant answers. The reply is read aloud; B pauses and resumes it.
9. Podés seguir preguntando sobre la misma foto, o sacar otra con X.
10. You can keep asking about the same photo, or take another one with X.

4.4 Chat PROCER

4.4 PROCER chat

Podés preguntar cualquier cosa. El Chat contesta con su conocimiento general, busca en internet por su cuenta cuando necesita algo actual, y usa los documentos que tengas en Mi material sin que tengas que elegir nada. Si querés acotarlo a un documento puntual, se entra por Chatear con este material.

You can ask anything. The chat answers from its own general knowledge, searches the internet by itself when it needs something current, and uses the documents you keep in My material without you having to choose anything. To narrow it down to a single document, go in through Chat with this material.

La consulta se escribe con un teclado externo, por USB o por Bluetooth, y el equipo va diciendo cada tecla; la flecha arriba del teclado te la lee entera para revisarla, y Enter la envía. También podés dictarla: mantené X para hablar y soltá para enviar; ↑arribaup ↓abajodown recorren las consultas anteriores; ←izquierdaleft →derecharight recorren la respuesta oración por oración; B pausa y reanuda; Y abre las opciones y A vuelve.

The query is typed on an external keyboard, over USB or Bluetooth, and the device says every key out loud; the keyboard up arrow reads the whole query back to you, and Enter sends it. You can also dictate it: hold X to talk and release to send; ↑arribaup ↓abajodown move through previous queries; ←izquierdaleft →derecharight move through the answer sentence by sentence; B pauses and resumes; Y opens the options and A goes back.

Las conversaciones quedan guardadas: podés volver a abrirlas más tarde desde la lista de conversaciones y seguir donde estabas.

Conversations are saved: you can reopen them later from the conversation list and continue where you were.

4.5 Leer texto

4.5 Read text

Es la función para pasar papel impreso a voz. Al entrar, el equipo te dice qué dispositivos de captura tiene disponibles en ese momento y se queda esperando.

This is the function that turns printed paper into speech. On entering, the device tells you which capture devices are available at that moment and waits.

• El escáner de Procer, conectado por USB‑C.
• The Procer scanner, connected over USB‑C.
• La cámara externa, conectada por USB‑C.
• The external camera, connected over USB‑C.
• Los lentes inteligentes, si están vinculados y encendidos.
• The smart glasses, if paired and switched on.

Con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown elegís cuál usar y con B lo activás. X dispara la captura directamente con el dispositivo elegido.

Use ↑arribaup ↓abajodown to choose which one to use and B to activate it. X triggers the capture directly with the selected device.

Apenas conectás el escáner —estés donde estés en el equipo— Procer 4 lo detecta, te dice cuántas páginas nuevas encontró y te ofrece:

As soon as you connect the scanner —wherever you are in the device— Procer 4 detects it, tells you how many new pages it found and offers you:

• Leer última página — procesa y lee sólo la última imagen. Es lo más rápido para leer una hoja suelta.
• Read last page — processes and reads only the last image. The fastest way to read a single sheet.
• Procesar múltiples páginas y leer — procesa todas las imágenes pendientes y arma con ellas un solo documento. Puede tardar; el equipo avisa cada página terminada con un sonido y podés empezar a escuchar mientras sigue trabajando.
• Process multiple pages and read — processes every pending image and builds a single document out of them. It can take a while; the device signals each finished page with a sound and you can start listening while it keeps working.
• Borrar todos los archivos del escáner — vacía la memoria del escáner. Conviene hacerlo cada tanto para que «páginas nuevas» signifique realmente eso.
• Delete all scanner files — empties the scanner memory. Worth doing now and then so that “new pages” really means new.

Si el escáner no aparece, probá desconectarlo y volver a conectarlo, y revisá el cable: un contacto flojo es la causa más habitual.

If the scanner does not show up, unplug it and plug it back in, and check the cable: a loose contact is the most common cause.

Con la cámara externa

With the external camera

La cámara se usa montada sobre un soporte, con la hoja debajo. El equipo muestra en pantalla lo que ve la cámara para que puedas encuadrar, y con X (o presionando un stick) sacás la foto. A continuación reconoce el texto y empieza a leerlo.

The camera is used mounted on a stand, with the page underneath. The device shows what the camera sees on screen so you can frame the page, and X (or pressing a stick) takes the photo. It then recognises the text and starts reading it.

Con los lentes inteligentes

With the smart glasses

Los lentes toman la fotografía de lo que estás mirando y la envían al equipo, que la lee. Es la forma más natural de leer un cartel, un menú o un papel que tenés en la mano, porque apuntás con la cabeza y no necesitás una tercera mano.

The glasses photograph whatever you are looking at and send it to the device, which reads it. This is the most natural way to read a sign, a menu or a sheet in your hand, because you aim with your head and need no third hand.

Grabaciones cortas para acordarte de cosas. Al entrar, el equipo lee la lista de grabaciones que ya tenés.

Short recordings to remember things. On entering, the device reads out the list of recordings you already have.

Si tenés los lentes conectados, se graba con el micrófono de los lentes.

If the glasses are connected, recording uses the glasses microphone.

4.7 Editor de texto

4.7 Text editor

Para escribir documentos propios. Podés escribir de dos maneras, y combinarlas:

For writing your own documents. You can write in two ways, and mix them:

• Dictando: mantené X mientras hablás; al soltar, el texto aparece escrito en el punto donde estaba el cursor.
• By dictation: hold X while you speak; when you release, the text appears written at the cursor position.
• Con un teclado USB o Bluetooth, escribiendo normalmente.
• With a keyboard, USB or Bluetooth, typing normally.

El documento se organiza en páginas: L1 va a la página anterior y R1 a la siguiente, y el equipo anuncia el número al cambiar.

The document is organised in pages: L1 goes to the previous page and R1 to the next, and the device announces the number as it changes.

Con Y abrís las opciones del editor: guardar o guardar como, insertar o borrar una página, marcar o desmarcar la página actual, ir a una página concreta, empezar un documento nuevo, convertir los signos dictados en símbolos, leer lo escrito hasta ahora e información del documento.

Press Y for the editor options: save or save as, insert or delete a page, bookmark or unbookmark the current page, go to a specific page, start a new document, convert dictated punctuation into symbols, read what you have written so far, and document information.

Al salir con A, el equipo pregunta si querés guardar los cambios.

When you leave with A, the device asks whether you want to save your changes.

4.8 Magnificador

4.8 Magnifier

Convierte la cámara externa en una lupa electrónica: lo que la cámara ve se muestra ampliado en la pantalla, con filtros de color de alto contraste. Es la única función donde los sticks analógicos no repiten a la cruceta.

Turns the external camera into an electronic magnifier: what the camera sees is shown enlarged on the screen, with high‑contrast colour filters. It is the only function where the analog sticks do not mirror the D‑pad.

4.9 Lentes inteligentes

4.9 Smart glasses

Los lentes agregan al equipo una cámara y un micrófono que apuntan a donde mirás, y opcionalmente auriculares. Una vez vinculados, se conectan solos cada vez que los encendés.

The glasses add a camera and a microphone that point wherever you look, and optionally headphones. Once paired, they connect on their own every time you switch them on.

• Información de la batería — cuánta carga les queda.
• Battery information — how much charge is left.
• Activar o reconectar la salida de audio — que el sonido del equipo salga por los lentes.
• Activate or reconnect the audio output — so the device sound comes out of the glasses.
• Desactivar la salida de audio — el sonido vuelve al parlante del equipo.
• Disable the audio output — sound returns to the device speaker.
• Desconectar lentes inteligentes.
• Disconnect smart glasses.

La vinculación inicial (elegir qué lentes son los tuyos) y la actualización de su controlador se hacen en Ajustes → Lentes inteligentes.

Initial pairing (choosing which glasses are yours) and updating their firmware are done in Settings → Smart glasses.

Con los lentes conectados, varias funciones cambian solas: el asistente y «Leer texto» toman la foto con ellos, y las notas de voz y el dictado usan su micrófono.

With the glasses connected several functions change by themselves: the assistant and “Read text” take the photo with them, and voice notes and dictation use their microphone.

5. Escuchar un documento

No importa de dónde venga el texto —del escáner, de un PDF, de un libro, de una página que escribiste vos, de la cámara—: la pantalla de lectura es siempre la misma. Aprendida una vez, sirve para todo.

No matter where the text comes from —the scanner, a PDF, a book, a page you wrote yourself, the camera— the reading screen is always the same. Learn it once and it works everywhere.

La velocidad de la voz se cambia en cualquier momento desde los ajustes rápidos, con una presión corta del botón de encendido.

The speech rate can be changed at any moment from the quick settings, with a short press of the power button.

Modo deletreo

Spelling mode

Cuando querés saber cómo se escribe una palabra —un nombre propio, una sigla, una dirección de correo— mantené ←izquierdaleft o →derecharight. La lectura se pausa y el equipo entra en modo deletreo sobre la palabra actual.

When you want to know how a word is spelled —a proper name, an acronym, an email address— hold ←izquierdaleft or →derecharight. The reading pauses and the device enters spelling mode on the current word.

• →derecharight pasa a la palabra siguiente, ←izquierdaleft a la anterior.
• →derecharight moves to the next word, ←izquierdaleft to the previous one.
• B deletrea la palabra letra por letra.
• B spells the word letter by letter.
• Para volver a la lectura normal, mantené ←izquierdaleft o →derecharight otra vez.
• To go back to normal reading, hold ←izquierdaleft or →derecharight again.

Armar un resumen mientras escuchás

Building a summary while you listen

Es una de las funciones más útiles para estudiar. Mientras el documento se lee:

One of the most useful study features. While the document is being read:

1. Cuando empieza algo que querés conservar, presioná X: suena el tono de inicio de resumen.
2. When something you want to keep begins, press X: the summary start tone plays.
3. Cuando termina, volvé a presionar X: suena el tono de fin de resumen.
4. When it ends, press X again: the summary end tone plays.
5. Repetí tantas veces como quieras a lo largo del documento.
6. Repeat as many times as you like throughout the document.

A PDF may contain real text or just a pile of scanned images. On opening it, the device offers:

• Extraer texto completo — rápido, sirve cuando el PDF ya tiene texto.
• Extract full text — fast; works when the PDF already contains text.
• Procesar PDF completo — reconoce página por página con OCR. Tarda bastante en documentos largos, pero funciona con PDF escaneados.
• Process entire PDF — recognises page by page with OCR. It takes a while on long documents, but works on scanned PDFs.
• Seleccionar rango de páginas a procesar — para no procesar un libro entero cuando sólo te interesan diez páginas.
• Select range of pages to process — so you do not process a whole book when you only care about ten pages.

Si el procesamiento queda a mitad de camino, se retoma desde Continuar → Continuar procesamiento de archivo PDF.

Libros DAISY

Los libros DAISY vienen con su propia estructura de capítulos. Los controles son los mismos, con dos diferencias:

• L1 R1 retroceden y avanzan según el modo de navegación elegido: por capítulos o por páginas. Se cambia desde Y.

Cualquier documento de la biblioteca —un apunte que escaneaste, un PDF que importaste, un texto que escribiste, incluso una nota de voz— se puede convertir en material de estudio:

Any document in the library —a note you scanned, a PDF you imported, a text you wrote, even a voice note— can be turned into study material:

The device generates a deck of questions from the document and quizzes you. The first time takes a moment to build; after that the cards are ready.

1. El equipo lee la pregunta.

A game of several rounds. In each round the device reads three statements taken from the document; one of the three is false and you have to find it.

When you have answered every round the device tells you; then Y → Grade gives you the result with the explanation for each round.

1. Primero aparece la pantalla de configuración: con L1 R1 elegís el tipo de aventura.
2. First comes the setup screen: L1 R1 choose the adventure type.
3. B crea la aventura y arranca la narración.
4. B creates the adventure and starts the narration.
5. Al terminar la escena, con L1 R1 recorrés las opciones y con B elegís una. Una de las opciones es siempre volver a escuchar la escena.

Convierte el documento en un audio para escuchar como si fuera un programa. Antes de generarlo elegís dos cosas, con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown para pasar de una a otra y ←izquierdaleft →derecharight para cambiar el valor:

Turns the document into an audio you can listen to like a show. Before generating it you choose two things, using ↑arribaup ↓abajodown to move between them and ←izquierdaleft →derecharight to change the value:

• Duración: 3, 5, 8 o 15 minutos.
• Length: 3, 5, 8 or 15 minutes.
• Estilo: conversacional (dos voces charlando) o narrativo (una voz que explica).
• Style: conversational (two voices talking) or narrative (one voice explaining).

B lo genera. Tarda unos minutos; el equipo avisa cuando está listo y lo reproduce. Después, B pausa y reanuda, ←izquierdaleft →derecharight retroceden y adelantan, y mantener B lo vuelve a empezar. El podcast queda guardado: la próxima vez se reproduce directamente. Con Y podés borrarlo para generar otro.

B generates it. It takes a few minutes; the device announces when it is ready and plays it. Afterwards B pauses and resumes, ←izquierdaleft →derecharight rewind and fast‑forward, and holding B restarts it. The podcast is saved: next time it plays straight away. With Y you can delete it to generate a different one.

Cada chat que abrís queda guardado con su historial. Desde la lista de conversaciones podés volver a entrar en cualquiera y seguir donde estabas, o borrarla con Y → Borrar conversación.

Every chat you open is saved with its history. From the conversation list you can reopen any of them and continue where you left off, or delete one with Y → Delete chat.

There are two ways in: holding ST from almost any function, or from Settings → Configure Wi‑Fi networks. Y opens the options:

Cuando la conexión sale bien suena el tono de conexión exitosa; si falla, el de conexión errónea. La causa más común de una conexión errónea es una clave mal escrita.

A successful connection plays the successful connection tone; a failure plays the connection error one. The most common cause of a failure is a mistyped password.

En Ajustes → Configurar Bluetooth vinculás auriculares, parlantes y teclados. Con Y:

In Settings → Configure Bluetooth you pair headphones, speakers and keyboards. With Y:

• Listar mis dispositivos — los que ya vinculaste. B conecta el elegido; Y permite desconectarlo u olvidarlo.
• List my devices — the ones you already paired. B connects the selected one; Y lets you disconnect or forget it.
• Buscar nuevos dispositivos — poné el accesorio en modo vinculación y esperá a que aparezca en la lista. B lo vincula.
• Search for new devices — put the accessory in pairing mode and wait for it to appear in the list. B pairs it.

Con un auricular Bluetooth conectado, los botones de volumen ajustan el volumen del auricular y no el del parlante. Si el sonido se corta al salir de la suspensión, usá Reconectar Bluetooth desde los ajustes rápidos.

With a Bluetooth headset connected, the volume buttons adjust the headset rather than the speaker. If sound drops after waking from sleep, use Reconnect Bluetooth from the quick settings.

Vincular el dispositivo a tu cuenta

Linking the device to your account

Las funciones que usan inteligencia artificial —el asistente, el chat y todo el material de estudio— necesitan que el equipo esté vinculado a una cuenta PROCER. Se hace una sola vez, en Ajustes → Configurar usuario:

The functions that use artificial intelligence —the assistant, the chat and all study material— require the device to be linked to a PROCER account. This is done once, in Settings → Configure user:

• Vincular dispositivo a una cuenta de PROCER — escribís usuario y contraseña.
• Link device to a PROCER account — you type your username and password.
• Vincular leyendo código QR — mucho más rápido: apuntás la cámara al código que te dieron y listo.
• Link by reading a QR code — much faster: point the camera at the code you were given and that is it.
• Desvincular dispositivo — corta la asociación con la cuenta.
• Unlink device — breaks the association with the account.
• Información — con qué cuenta está vinculado.
• Information — which account it is linked to.

Cuando el equipo está vinculado, al encenderlo te saluda por tu nombre.

When the device is linked, it greets you by name at start‑up.

Información del equipo

Device information

Manteniendo SE desde cualquier función, el equipo interrumpe lo que está haciendo y te dice el nivel de batería, la hora y el estado de la conexión Wi‑Fi. Al terminar vuelve solo a donde estabas.

Holding SE from any function, the device interrupts what it is doing and tells you the battery level, the time and the Wi‑Fi connection status. When it finishes it returns to where you were on its own.

En Ajustes → Reloj se ajusta fecha y hora. Con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown pasás de un campo a otro (día, mes, año, hora, minutos) y con ←izquierdaleft →derecharight cambiás el valor. A confirma y vuelve a los ajustes.

In Settings → Clock you set the date and time. ↑arribaup ↓abajodown move between fields (day, month, year, hour, minutes) and ←izquierdaleft →derecharight change the value. A confirms and returns to settings.

Si el equipo tiene internet, la hora se pone en hora sola al encenderse, así que casi nunca hace falta tocar esto.

If the device has internet, the time sets itself at start‑up, so you will rarely need to touch this.

Cuando hay una versión nueva disponible, el equipo te lo avisa al volver al menú principal. Para instalarla, Ajustes → Actualizar:

When a new version is available the device tells you when you return to the main menu. To install it, go to Settings → Update:

• Buscar actualización automáticamente — la descarga por internet. Es la opción normal.
• Check for updates automatically — downloads it over the internet. This is the normal option.
• Buscar actualización desde puerto USB — instala desde un pendrive, para cuando no hay buena conexión.
• Search for update from USB port — installs from a USB drive, for when there is no good connection.

En el menú principal, cuatro botones quedan libres para que les asignes tus funciones favoritas: L1, R1, L2 y R2. Con un solo botón entrás directo, sin recorrer el menú.

In the main menu, four buttons are free for you to assign your favourite functions: L1, R1, L2 and R2. One button press takes you straight in, with no menu to browse.

Se configuran en Ajustes → Configurar atajos del Menú principal: con ↑arribaup ↓abajodown elegís el botón y con ←izquierdaleft →derecharight la función que le querés asignar. Con Y → Quitar todos los atajos asignados los borrás todos de una.

Procer 4 usa sonidos cortos para confirmarte cosas sin interrumpirte con voz: avisan que una acción no se pudo hacer, que una página quedó marcada, que el escáner terminó de procesar, que la batería está baja. Aprenderlos hace que el equipo se vuelva mucho más rápido de usar, porque dejás de esperar a que te lo diga hablando.

Procer 4 uses short sounds to confirm things without interrupting you with speech: they tell you that an action could not be performed, that a page was bookmarked, that the scanner finished processing, that the battery is low. Learning them makes the device far quicker to use, because you stop waiting for it to say things out loud.

El editor de texto está pensado para escribir con un teclado común, conectado por USB o por Bluetooth. Apenas se abre el editor, el teclado queda a su disposición: escribís normalmente y el equipo te va leyendo lo que aparece.

The text editor is designed for writing with an ordinary keyboard, connected over USB or Bluetooth. As soon as the editor opens, the keyboard is handed over to it: you type normally and the device reads back what appears.

Dictating

Ctrl+R arranca el dictado y Ctrl+R otra vez lo termina. El texto dictado se inserta en la posición del cursor. Es el equivalente de mantener X en la botonera, pero sin tener que sostener nada mientras hablás.

Ctrl+R starts dictation and Ctrl+R again ends it. The dictated text is inserted at the cursor position. It is the equivalent of holding X on the device, but without having to keep anything pressed while you speak.
